Edward and I decided to go check out the new mall in Southaven yesterday. By mall I mean strip mall, and by strip mall I mean Southaven lied to us and said it would be a mall, when, in fact, its not. It is an outdoor string of shops placed in the middle of a grassy field, made to look like a boardwalk or downtown complete with integrated sound and lighting system. I do like it though. I think the only thing it needs is a sandwich or smoothie shop. The nearest food and beverage center is nearly a mile away, and I refuse to buy the food chick-fil-a was selling on the sidewalk out of beer coolers.
Before we had left I got my keys out so that I could move my car. When I reached to unlock the door, I noticed something moving in my car. IT WAS A CAT. There was an orange cat in my car. It started running a circle frantically jumping from seat to seat. I stood frozen, not really sure of what to do. I asked Edward what to do. Luckily, Edward is a super problem solving genius and within seconds he had come up with an amazing solution, open the door so the cat can get out. I am so glad I have him around, if I didn't have someone like him to make sure I have my shoes on the right feet, I would have accidentally killed myself a long time ago.
How did the cat get in there? Surely spontaneous generation is the explanation here. There are plenty of old, rotting food items in my car; and we all know that that Pasteur fellow is full of it. No, dummy, cats don't just appear out of thin air, I had my sunroof open and the cat jumped in, but the poor thing couldn't figure a way to get out. I opened the door and he ran, full speed, to great little bunny Foo-foo in the field behind Edward's house.
they call it an open air mall. i call it a destroyer of wetlands. i also call it impossible to get a parking spot.

Did you see the giant international store they're opening? The sign says there should be over fifty countries represented. I'm kinda excited, espcially if my native Poland will have a spot.
I think they should experiment with the music they play through the speakers, like maybe play the YMCA and see if anyone breaks out into song.
